1aTAMPA, FL – SchenkelShultz Architecture designed the School District of Indian River County’s recently-constructed $34.3 million, 167,500-square-foot Storm Grove Middle School at 6400 57TH Street in Vero Beach, FL. Designed to meet the “LEED® for Schools Gold” criteria established by the United States Green Building Council, SchenkelShultz incorporated the “school within a school” concept whereby each grade level is housed in a separate classroom building to create small learning communities.
