Pasco/Pinellas/Hillsborough County, Florida – (January 2012) Medical Center of Trinity is offering a community education class called, Nutrition & Diabetes. The next class will be held February 22 at 10 am. Classes are conducted by a Registered Dietitian on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, FL 34655.
The class will present information on the basic principles of nutrition, including how food affects blood glucose. Participants will learn:
- Carbohydrate Counting
- Meal Planning and Timing
- Label Reading and Portion Control
- Eating Out With Diabetes
