Neal Communities Continues Its Assertive Growth Trend

The Lakewood Ranch-based home builder has hired eight people in new positions during the fourth quarter of 2009. In spite of the real estate downturn, NealCommunities has sold nearly 300 homes in 2009, making it the number one builder in Sarasota/Manatee.
Neal Communities has welcomed Greg Smith as Director of Information Technology; Dennis LaPlant, IT Support Specialist; Betsy Krutzig, New Home Sales Representative at Mandalay; Mike Kramer, Estimator/New Product Development; Christina Raciti, Staff Accountant; Dina Bennett, Assistant to the Vice President of Design; Sheri Roca, Design Consultant and Maryann Grgic, Public Relations Assistant.

Greg Smith, the new director of information technology, is a critical link in this effort. His background in programming and system design has ideally suited him to help Neal Communities position itself as a technology leader. Smith was previously employed by anational home builder where he implemented systems and platforms that brought them superior efficiency. He is bringing national level competency to this local company.
Neal Communities has successfully introduced the River Sound Community in February 2009. This private neighborhood has sold 100 homes before its first birthday. Neal Communities will open Central Park in Lakewood Ranch in the summer of 2010. All studies and trends indicate that sales will be robust.
